Join us and march at Brook Park Home Days Parade
The Brook Park Soccer Association is once again
marching in this year's Home Days Parade and we are looking
for a few good marcher's to show our "SOCCER PRIDE". The parade is Sunday, July 12th and will begin at 1:00 pm. SHARP! Please be there no later than 12:45 P.M. so we can get everyone organized and ready to have some FUN! We will meet @ Brookgate parking lot in front of the old Tops store. Bring your camera's!
As in past parades we will be able to ride bikes,
scooters, rollerblades or you can just walk and enjoy the parade
sights! We'd like to encourage helmets for those of you on wheels!
Remember, safety counts! We will also be able to "gently"
toss candy out to all the kids on the parade route. Any
additional candy donations are always welcome and can be brought the
day of the parade.
We would like everyone to wear your Brook Park Soccer jerseys or any soccer related apparel and/or anything RED, WHITE or BLUE!
The parade will last about 45 minutes and end at the Brookpark water park (please pick-up your marcher there.). Please have the kids wear comfortable shoes and bring a water bottle for re-fills.
We had a ball at the last parade and this one should
be no exception, so don't miss out! Contact Tom and Kristy Colburn for
more details. (440)241-6478.
A big BPSA 'THANK YOU' to the Colburn's for volunteering to coordinate the parade activities.

Volunteers Needed - NO SOCCER EXPERIENCE NECESSARY Believe
it or not, that is true for most of the positions at the Brook
Park Soccer Association. The BPSA is a volunteer organization
run by full and part-time parents. Our success is contingent upon how
many parents are willing to give a little of their time to make their
son’s or daughter’s experience a more positive one. Here are some of the
area's we are looking for help with: * Concession Stand Organizer/ Helpers....helping to organize and keep track of inventory and
sales. Helpers to volunteer for 2 hour shifts to sell snacks and BPSA apparel
on Saturday's and some weeknight games. Need to set-up trailer March 27th and
28th * Field Manager....helping
to keep the soccer fields organized and work together with BPSA to set-up
lines, goals and over-all maintenance. No lawn care required * Fund Raiser Organizer....
work with the BPSA on upcoming and future fund raising events and ideas
*Board Members Positions....
we will be in need of a new Treasurer and a Secretary for the registrations
only, coming up this May. Interested members please contact Coach Craig
for more details * Coaches.... we are always
on the look out for energetic, friendly and organized people to become a
coach or to be a coach’s helper. If you have these qualities and like kids,
contact Coach Craig for more details The
more people who volunteer, the easier everyone's job becomes, but more
importantly, your kids will appreciate it. If you can help in any manner
not on the list, let us know that as well!
If
you do find something, please contact BPSA President Craig Schultz at 216-676-6251
or email brookparksoccer@gmail.com
